Decisions

Dear God,

Right now I have a big decision to make.  It will be hard for me to make it. I always hate having to make decisions myself and not just having the answer fall into my lap.  Please help me to make the best decision that I can about my environment.  Please give me courage to know what is right and what I need to do.

Thank you for the abundance of love that you have shown for me though.  I appreciate how much love and compassion you have shown for me, creating opportunities for me to succeed and to feel comfortable.  Please help my work over the next few years be in complete service to you.  Let my hands reach out and be guided by the love you have for me and for others.  Thank you for extending the olive branch of kindness out to me.  Thank you for helping me to see what could be and what should be in this world because of your love and kindness.  Continue to bless me as I journey forward so that I will always remember to keep you in my live, working towards your vision of a greater tomorrow.

Dear Lord,

Help me to find the words to praise you in my daily life.  Help me to follow you as I write.  Help me to live each day with an open heart and without the resentment that I sometimes feel. Kindness should not be something I do in exchange for something else, but should be the purpose for what I do.  Help me to work towards accepting that what I do is in service to others and that is value enough for the life I have been given.
